Barry is a founding member and partner of The GMR Group. He is a former executive of Johnson & Johnson. Barry’s pharmaceutical background includes sales and sales management training, product management, business development, co-marketing/co-promotion management and managed care marketing. He has extensive experience and capabilities in developing new product launch strategy and market planning for both the managed care and long-term care markets.

Tom is a former Executive Director of Marketing for Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical and Executive Director of Licensing and Acquisitions for Johnson & Johnson Consumer Products Worldwide. His expertise includes: pharmaceutical experience, positions in sales, sales management, marketing communications, product management, and licensing and acquisitions. Further, Tom has extensive insight into new product launch, brand management, co-promotion management and product development in multiple therapeutic categories. His capabilities encompass marketing planning, strategic planning, marketing management, and managed care marketing.

Mike is a former Pharmacy Executive of Montgomery Hospital and St. Lukes Hospital, Montgomery County, PA. His expertise includes: purchasing decision strategies, alternate site delivery of services, investigational protocol management, development of critical pathways and care mapping, and management of oncology networks. Mike is affiliated with the American Society of Health System Pharmacists, the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, and the VHA National Pharmacy Advisory Council.

  Elizabeth S. Cohen

Liz has spent the past 18 years of her career in the academic community focusing on professional education and training for the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to coming to The GMR Group, Liz spent the last year and a half in the Department of Health Policy at Thomas Jefferson University as a marketing and sales arm to David Nash, MD, MBA. In addition, Liz was Director of Advanced Concepts at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia for 12 years. Her expertise is in design, development, recruitment and coordination of professional education programs on both a regional and national basis. She has worked with the training departments, long term care, managed care and brand teams within the industry in both a marketing and project development capacity. Liz is very familiar with the clinical aspects of most disease states and the needs of the sales and marketing teams within those specific segments.

Pete is a recognized leader in the managed care world with additional experience in hospital, retail and academic pharmacy practice. His former positions include: Vice President of Managed Pharmacy for Cigna Healthcare and Director of Pharmacy Services at Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound. Pete has expertise in all aspects of managed care pharmacy ranging from formulary processes to Internet pharmacy and pharmacoeconomics. He is past president of AMCP and current chair of the past presidents and founders council.

Cindi is a former Executive of Home Health Corporation of America and CEO/owner of Home Healthcare business. Her expertise includes: design and implementation of long-term care tactics and marketing strategies, development of disease management programs, design of clinical documentation to meet JCAHO and NCQA requirements, home care contracting, and HCFA survey and certification process management.
