Vineet Kumar hails from Shyam Vihar, Najafgarh, Delhi. After losing his father at a young age, his mother became the sole earning member of the family, working as housekeeping staff in an MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) school to support Vineet and his two younger siblings. As the eldest, Vineet took on responsibilities early in life, balancing family duties with his academic aspirations.

Despite financial constraints and personal challenges, Vineet remained focused on building a better future. His journey took a significant turn in June 2025, when he joined the GMR Varalakshmi Foundation’s Pratibha Library in Najafgarh, Delhi.

The Pratibha Library provided him with more than just a place to study. It offered a structured and disciplined learning environment, access to quality study materials, subject-focused online classes and continuous guidance. The library creates a space where students like Vineet can prepare with clarity, consistency, and confidence.

Vineet dedicated long hours to his preparation, staying committed despite ongoing financial pressures and family responsibilities. His perseverance and hard work, supported by the ecosystem at Pratibha Library, led him to clear the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) examination.

Today, Vineet has secured the position of Office Superintendent in the Income Tax Department, marking a transformative milestone for himself and his family. His success has also inspired his siblings to pursue their own educational goals.

Vineet’s journey reflects how the right support system, combined with determination, can create meaningful opportunities for youth from underserved communities.
