Hyderabad, 30 October 2025: GMR School of Aviation, a Center of Excellence for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering education, and a Strategic Business Unit of GMR Aero Technic has entered a strategic collaboration with RH AERO. GMR Aero Technic is one of India’s leading airframe Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization. RH AERO is a global leader in OEM-licensed tooling, ground-support equipment (GSE), and lifecycle services. This partnership is poised to redefine aerospace training and skill development in India.

The collaboration is focused on jointly developing and delivering specialized tooling training programs through the GMR School of Aviation, tailored to meet the evolving needs of RH AERO’s workforce and the broader aerospace sector. GMR School of Aviation will offer structured training modules, access to world-class practical training aids and simulators, and focused skill development initiatives to enhance industry readiness. Tooling training focuses on building skills in the operation , repair and maintenance of specialized tools.

As part of the agreement, RH AERO will nominate employees to participate in these training programs, ensuring their teams are equipped with the latest industry knowledge and best practices. Both organizations will work together to identify key areas of skill enhancement that align with regional development goals and the dynamic needs of the aerospace industry.

GMR Aero Technic, a division of GMR Air Cargo and Aerospace Engineering Ltd, is India’s largest third-party MRO service provider.
