The run-of-river hydropower project on the Alaknanda River in Uttarakhand, India has secured key environmental clearance, techno-economic concurrence, forest clearance, long-term grid access, host country approval and has all required land in its possession.

Registered with United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as a Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project with a completed World Commission on Dams (WCD) audit, the project implementation is currently subject to an ongoing study, following the unprecedented floods in Uttarakhand in June 2013.
