Smart Meter Project

Operational since January 2025, the smart meter project in Agra is executing Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (DVVNL)’s order to replace approximately 25.5 lakh conventional meters with smart meters across ~24,584 sq km in southern Uttar Pradesh, with a 27-month rollout and 93-month operations and maintenance period, serving an ~80:20 rural–urban consumer mix.
