GMR Varalakshmi Foundation

Building Pathways to Empowerment and Dignified Livelihoods

GMR Varalakshmi Foundation advances empowerment by building job-ready skills, supporting women entrepreneurs, and strengthening rural livelihoods.

Where Skills Lead to Dignity, Income, and Independence

Many bright minds in our villages and towns lack the specific skills that modern shops and factories need. This makes finding a good job very difficult. At the same time, many women and small-scale farmers have the will to work but lack the right tools or markets to sell what they produce.

The Foundation bridges the gap between dreams and reality.  It places strong emphasis on skill development as a catalyst for social and economic transformation, particularly among youth and women, focusing on building capacities for entrepreneurship and livelihood generation, enabling meaningful participation in economic progress.

We offer hands-on training, career advice, and help with starting small enterprises. By focusing on what people actually need to succeed, we help entire communities rise out of poverty and build a more secure future for their children.
