Learning As A Bridge To Opportunity

Since 2009, GMR Varalakshmi Foundation’s training centres have delivered job-focused short-term vocational programs with residential facilities, certified quality systems, and strong industry partnerships to prepare youth for real jobs.  Each centre combines practical training, industry collaboration, and structured campus facilities to ensure that learning translates into livelihood.

Technical Skills As The Road To Employment

GMR VTI's  exist for one specific group: young people who had no clear path into formal work. Every design choice in a GMRVF VTI program is pillared on the belief that a skill is not just a tool. It is the starting point of an independent life.  The objective is not short-term assistance, but sustainable employability through certified and market-aligned training.
Recognised for Excellence
Independent validation from national bodies and competition platforms confirms that GMR VTIs exceed quality benchmarks in vocational training.

Changing Lives With Focused Skills Training
Across GMR's vocational training centres, young people who had no clear path into formal work have gone on to jobs in hospitality, logistics, electrical services, banking, and more. A two-month course, a placement, a salary: that is what a changed life can look like.
