Som Mittal is the Former President and Chairman of NASSCOM.
He is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Ahmedabad. He is on several boards of corporations, educational institutions, and social sector organizations. He was a member of the Prime Minister’s E-Governance Council.
He has 40 years of corporate experience in the engineering and IT industry with Escorts, Denso, Wipro, and Hewlett Packard. He was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award of IIT Kanpur.
